Doors

We offer specialized hinged and sliding doors for operating theatres in hospital wards, for clean rooms in pharmacy, biotechnology and any other applications where high hygienic requirements matter.

Automatic or manual doors, single or double-leaf doors, semi-hermetic or hermetic doors, with X-rays protection, full glass – there are over dozen of different models and combinations in our portfolio.

Features of the functioning of doors in health care institutions have led to the widespread use of sliding hermetic structures.

When the door is closed, its structure is completely airtight, including along the floor line (the airtight design of the door prevents air leakage, both at high and low pressure), therefore, it prevents the uncontrolled movement of air and aerosol pollutants, that is a hermetically sealed room makes possible to maintain a constant level of overpressure and, thereby, to control the direction of the air flow.

Thus, sliding hermetic doors play an important role in the fight against surgical site infections (SSI) and nosocomial infections.

When sliding doors are opened and closed, there is practically no disturbance of air flows (much less compared to hinged doors – the recovery time to restore microclimate and aerosol air purity when using sliding doors is only 1.5 minutes, while when using hinged doors – at least 5 minutes), which plays an important role in rooms with conditioned and clean air. In addition, sliding doors are much more ergonomic and provide simple technological solutions in narrow or busy places in medical institutions.

The use of sliding hermetic doors in operating rooms is especially relevant, taking into account the presence of a large number of personnel and the movement of patients on intensive care beds in relatively small spaces, such as airlocks.

Patient safety, reducing the number of incidents are the most important tasks of the operating room, diagnostic radiology departments and intensive care units, as well as other medical premises. Infection of the surgical wound can lead to a long recovery period of the patient, disability or even death.

In order to reduce the number of such cases, air quality indicators and the readiness of all systems should be constantly monitored.

On the basis of research, it was established that optimal logistic solutions and the use of sliding hermetic doors improve such indicators as the level of hygiene in medical premises, the level of safety and operation, and the energy efficiency of the building in general.
